For me other than the MPV the Train from HOHUM reason being you save on the border crossing hassle... You can take a bus or metro straight from the airport change at 5 elements to free shuttle bus... to train station.

good thing is the custom very easy to cross because very few people exit HK form HOHUM and enter China from CP station very hassle FREE...

Problem is there is only a few trains daily so you may have to wait a bit...

While we on this topic I like to address safety...

The train stations in China side are a good place to get ripped off...

Usually it starts off with some kind of fight or a man beating up a woman lots of screaming and hitting... but if you look round you will see men and women with razors cutting bags and pockets... another trick (and i've seen this done) is to pick a man's wallet from the back pocket and stuff a wallet sized newspaper into it at the same time.

If you see any of these pick pockets find a wall and stand with you back against it, do not bring attention to yourself, I've seen a guy get slashed in the face when he exposed the pick pockets ... they travel in a gang...
