For divorce cases the ex-hubby CANNOT cancel the spouse LTVP or PR.... this is provided for in the Women's Charter but he can withdraw as her sponsor. The ICA will allow her to substitute a new sponsor and in the event she is unable to find one..... her lawyer can apply for a State Guardian to be her sponsor until the Family Court decides otherwise. Each case is dealt differently depending on the circumstances and the court order is TIC when dealing with ICA matters.
