Bros thinking of going down to Subic these few days would do better to stay away as Subic is in mourning. There was a huge fire that started in Dryden hotel last weekend and spread to the surrounding buildings. As the fire was first spotted around 3am, rescue services were late in arriving and by the time they got there the fire was too big to fight and was left to burn itself out.

Unfortunately, four guests of the hotel died and 2 BGs they barfined also perished in the fire. As Dryden is located right in the middle of the Barrio Barreto bars vicinity..... several bars and hotels were also damaged by the fire.

The hotels that were affected by the fire are :-
Dryden hotel, By The Sea Resort, Subic Grand Seas Resort, Angeles Beach Resort, Marmont hotel, Anbon hotel, Sand Castle hotel & Barts Resort.
Those of you who have reservations with these hotels better contact them to check on your reservations.

The establishments that were affected by the fire are :-
Wet Spot, Hot Zone, Oriental Rose, Down Under, RumJungle, Club One, Lips Complex & the 5 bars inside it. The 2 BGs who died were rumoured to be from the Hot Zone and Red Lips bars.

As a mark of respect to the dead and victims of the fire made homeless..... businesses will hold a donation drive with proceeds going to the dependants of the 2 BGs and the homeless residents.

Stick to AC for the present because there is no point coming down to Subic as the party mood is gone and everyone is sombre.... even amongst those in the bars not affected by the fire.

That's terrible news. Make it a habit to always checkout the escape routes when you check into your room. You never know when shit will happen.
