I'm into the Marine business, I remembered few years ago I was supposed to bring 2 or 3 home appliances to one of the Batam yard.
So at the Batam Custom, The agent came to pick me up, but there's a small problem, the custom wanna tax me, S$50...
I calculated our profit for this delivery which was just over S$50++, I declined to pay and called my Manager to inform about this situation.
My Manager say let him think about it and will call me back.
Moments later he called back and tell me to give the tax and demand the tax invoice. I say "siao ah" this one confirmed is makan case, you think they will give invoice meh!. So he say boh bain loh!
He said he already spoke to Supt and Supt agreed when they come to SG for Bunkering, he will support us big time.
After they Undock in Batam, truely they came to SG for bunker, but they didn't buy from us at all... LOL
Bro Soh, this probably didn't explain if you will be tax! Ususally you can sneak thru but if noticed by some makansutra, most likely you will kanna...
