Back when AirAsia just went into operation a Singapore/Bangkok return flight can be as cheap as S$80.00-100.00 during promotion period.
But those days have to pay THB500 departure tax at Don Mueang Airport.
Yes these days Jetstar's Singapore/Phuket route is more economical.
Air travel to Bangkok is getting more and more expensive over the years.
1 month ago I've to resort to old school coach travel from Johor Bahru to Hatyai then Hatyai to Bangkok.
A total of 13+13 hours!
No choice I poor man.
Years of hardcore cheonging have depleted my savings.
Have to budget otherwise not enough Thai Baht to cheong puyings in Bangkok.
