staying alone is a luxury in our little island with high property prices.u have your own place means u don't hv to compromise, u live as u like. when u feel alone, just think it's way btr than be unhappy with someone u don't hv a connection with, quite torturing to be in tht situation (think of people trapped in unhappy marriages).
when u hv time to feel lonely, its gd news means u can add more activities to your life be it meeting people by joining group events or just read a book u have no time to read,do that painting, cook that dish u always wanted to try out. If travel is within budget, go for it, don't be afraid to travel alone, it's really liberating u speak to more people than u otherwise would if travelling with companions. staying cheaply in hostels or camping isn't just for the v young. you can do it too. yolo be happy
