A couple of uneventful days passed until Jim sent me this new message along with a screenshot conversation with my mom.

When I saw that message, my heart literally leaped up into my throat. She can't be thinking of cheating on my dad, can she? I know my dad did her wrong, she was someone whom I know would think what is best for the family. Two wrongs definitely do not make a right, and young as I was, I knew this to be true.
But why is she agreeing to have lunch with Jim on the same day Dad leaves for Vietnam to spend time with his other family???
