The final best runner-up between the 9 runner-ups fr Group A to Group I will also clinch the auto quanlification berth.(1 slot taken)
The best runner up must hv the best overall record against the teams tat finishs 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th in the same group.
The remaining final 8 runners-ups will face-off in a 2-legged play-off.(4 slots taken)
Euro 2012 shall be compete among 16-teams tat qualify as the 2 co-host, the 9 Group Winners, the 1 best runner-up among the 9 groups & the 4 winners in the 2-leg play-off games.
