If you are alone and speak a little Japanese some soapland places will take foreigners.

It's better if you have a local Japanese guy with you so that he can explain their menu and system to you so that there's no misunderstanding. But still, you need to have some knowledge of basic Japanese words to ensure you don't go off menu with the lady.

I will recommend Tobita at Osaka. It’s a few stops away by train from Dotonburi, and a few mins walk. Pricing there quite standard and according to your time spent with them. Cheapest one, if I remember correctly, is SGD100+ for 15 or 30 mins. There is open concept, the brothels are all lined side by side, which makes choosing very easy.

One thing to note is each Brothel will only display one girl at a time, like a conveyer belt system. A customer goes in, takes the girl on display, then the next one will come out and sit there. To gauge how many people are in the brothel, look at the shoes placed outside as you have you take off your shoes before going in. I believe with additional fee, you can actually choose girls from the brothels instead of taking the one on display.

You can just walk around until you find a girl that you like. I shit you not, but I actually found a girl like Fiona Seah. Girls there are open to foreigners so don’t have to worry. Ddog also went Tobita before. Service oriented and professional. Just be aware if gal is Chinagal or Filipino. But many authentic Japanese, from personal experience Japanese gals is a notch up there in service, hygiene and attitute. You pay for premium food.
