2009 News Corner - Raids Going On with HC/TN

There is an ongoing thread for raids on KTV, shouldn't we have a similar thread on HC & TN so that bros here can know something before rushing down ?

For a start, I shall contribute what I know below. Bros, please feel free to add to the list. Maybe after a while, we know the pattern of AV

1. 17 Mar 2009, L5 at Selegie. All the girls were up the lorry. Heard that it was due to some written complaints by nearby tenants.

2. 18 March 2009, L3 - Bxxx Jxxx2 at Selegie. No girls were up the lorry as they are all PRs or have the WP.

From what I heard from some brothers, AV seem like to strike on Tues & Thurs during office hours. Is it true ? Heard that they do not strike on HC/TN on Fri, Sat & Sun or after working hours as they need to concentrate on KTV at night.

I cannot believe this - Parklane mall @ selegie becomes yet another breeding ground for sexual massage parlours.

There are quite a few joints at basement, level 2, level 3 and level 5 etc. Each of these massage parlours provide sex services under the false front of beauty spa

Yesterday, police raided the joint at level 5 - shop name is "Beauty Spa", #05-12 and all the ladies were taken away. To our surprise, this joint still open for business today as if nothing has happened !!!

And yes, they still provide sex services and solicit on any man who walk passby.

The police raid was ineffective as when they raided on #05-12, all the other joints at basement, level 2, level 3 received the tip off and they immediately closed the shop to avoid being caught.

I just wonder what we should do to contain such vice activities at shopping mall. This is another case such as Fortune Centre.

Despite massive tip-offs, Straits Times reporting in Dec 2008, the same sexual massage parlours still operate at level 2, level 3 and level 4 at Fortune Centre. At Fortune Centre, one unit at level 4 was constantly raided and all they do is just changed their name from little red bean to little grape and because of that, they can still operate their sexual massage parlour ?

I cannot believe on this !!!!

If anyone wants to operate sexual massage parlours, brothels, they should operate it in Geylang and other red-light districts.

It's illegal to operate them in normal shopping centres and all under the name "Beauty Saloon" or "Spa"

Can Authority please do something ?

This shop must have offended some tenants at Fortune Centre. Cannot be so many raids on this Little Red Bean within short period of time.

Yes, bro, Tues and Thurs are high risk. Especially Thurs.. I heard from someone tat told me, Wed, Fr, Sat and Sun, the "raid" man deployed to illegal gambling eg: horse bookie. Monday usually their off day. Hence, Tue and Thur mainly reserve for AV raid.

That's what my friends told me as well. Mainly on Tues & Thurs for HCs & TNs

And usually during office hours around 2-5pm.

So far the raids on Selegie happened on the above time period - Tues & Thurs and occurred around 4-5pm.

So maybe this is AV pattern ?

wow. so many raids recently? i think the AV got to react upon complaints...

This raids happened only after the tenants/public complains or the newspaper carries the story. When the place is "hot" or "popular" it's highly possible the AV will conduct raids on it too.

Yes I heard from WLs told me that Tue and Thur are high risk period. This was so in Casanova. Recently Aikok been going thru a lot of raid. Rain was arrested. According to one WLs they said that in the past if they were caught by female AV for wearing G strings, they were scolded.
