Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
What a game.
This happens when all 11 players turn up for work.
There was great team work .
The front 4 players really work their butts out.
Glad to see Firmino getting his first goal for Liverpool . He would have got 2 more had he been more deadlier. But I believe he will improve over time.
Kudos to the manager for getting his tactics spot on.
Can see that the team's believe and morale coming up once again.
Well done team . You make us proud to be a RED.
Keep up the good work.

next EPL match is back at Anfield, against Swansea.
Have to clear the midweek Europa game against Bordeux on Thursday first before playing Swansea..... Liverpool has always performed badly after European matches.

I think we will send a weakened team in the Europa game. Unfortunately we cannot rotate the left centreback (lovren) because sakho is injured. Top 4 is more important and definitely still achievable.

I beg to differ.
Unlike Brendan who had very little European football experience, I think Klopp takes it seriously and has a good track record as well. No doubt this is only the EC but it does offer a tantalizing prize to the eventual winner i.e. an automatic spot in next season's CL group stage competition.
I suspect Klopp is going to try and focus on both the EPL and EC and see where it takes the Reds at the end of the season. To me the League Cup and FA Cup are worthless distractions.

makes sense to go for EPL top 4 and Europa Cup.
JK will give youngsters like Ibe and Benteke chance to perform.
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Agreed all in a scrappy performance and perhaps afew unnecessary heartbeat moments in the final 10 minutes but the Reds still got the job done and are through to the final 32 of the EC.
Also good to see Liverpool come from behind, although I must say Mignolet should not have made such a silly mistake to concede the first goal. Lovely winner by Benteke as well and Firmino was impressive once again.
As for Daniel Sturridge, man I really don't know what to say
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
i think we were caught out by bordeaux determined performance.....how they are pressing us for the ball right from the first whistle. This was a hard fought win n a superb winner from benteke.........i thought firminio was poor in this game......cant even hold on to the ball......anyway a win is a win, bring on swansea next!! YNWA
