Go apply for entry visa (do thai need one?) and buy a ticket to test it out.

What success story to ask for if it's just for social visit? The risk is only to be sent back and waste a one-way ticket which cost less than a hundred bucks.

Just make sure she was using her real passport when she work here and has not committed any crime - which may result in her ending up in jail rather than just sent back.
