Bad idea, TS. Face it, which cat doesn't like fish. So why do it when you know of the harm you can cause. To make matters worse, you are a guy yourself. How would you feel if you are the one being tested?
Go tell your female friend, if she doesn't trust her bf, then forget about being together with him. She should just learn to trust someone first before she gets together with him.

Dude, you are like breaking the code of honour amongst guys, be it that you know or do not know the other party. If the other guy is a true jackass, you can just very well ignore him and leave it be. You are putting a girl first before fellow dudes........
 Have you heard the joke where the husband is out for one night and when he returns home, says he spent the night at his friend's place ? Well, the wife calls up ten friends of the guy and asked. 8 replied yes, he spend the night. 2 repiled yes and he is still there now. There is a bit of truth to it on how guys cover for each other and you are trying to sabo another guy. Forget about it dude.......

Wow, thanks for all your replies. Can understand the fellow forumer's anger about this issue but as I mentioned, I'm just trying to help a friend.
She has security issues as that guy has cheated on her b4. He promised he would ever do it again so she is looking for a way to test him. I have told her that if she doesn't trust him, she should leave him but I guess its not that simple when you still have feelings for someone. I have tried dissuading her but since she was so insistent, I obliged her and posted on this forum. I guess its easy for the guys here in the forum to judge and to cry foul but I believe everyone has the freedom to do what they want as long as they are willing to live through the consequences. Also, the guy is not my friend and I do not see why I should help anyone except my friends be they male/female. All the "brothers" here say they share some sort of a brotherhood and we should help one another out...If "brotherhood" means sharing an anatomical similarity like a dick, then I think this "brotherhood" concept is very meaningless... To be honest, I can see why everyone is angry about this but I'm a believer of free speech so please say and judge as you like. The offer still stands and she's willing to pay good money for this. If anyone is still interested or know someone for the job, please PM me. =)

If you don't care about this brotherhood, then never mind forget about it. But it's not just about the brotherhood, it's about ETHICS. and also karma.
If there had been no honey trap, would the guy have succumbed to temptation ? Yes, he may have found temptations elsewhere, but why leave it to such an academic investigation in order to 'push' him into it ? Why interfere in the lives of other people, to an extent that you know may be completely irreversible. For the FL who takes up this job, have you thought about how much hurt and damage you may cause as a result of this commercial transaction ? And also karma. I had a good friend of my dad's, when he was younger, sought deliberately to expose the boyfriend of a friend who was found by him cheating on her. In the end the 2, who were supposed to be married, broke it off. According to my dad, they all said he was a righteous and fidel man who who was faithful to wife and family. They subsequently migrated to Canada not long after and had kids. Almost 30 years later, he was caught in a extramarital affair with a much younger woman by his family and it resulted in a really nasty divorce. This was almost after 30 years of marriage ... I'm not here to debate whether infidelity is correct or not. But you never know, when something you support to condemn now, may be something you fall victim to be condemned upon much later on.

TS, your friend needs to get herself sorted out.....not trying to find out whether her bf who has once cheated on her will or will not cheat on her again. She has chosen to continue to be with him inspite of his previous transgression then she has to continue to be with him whole heartedly. If she has anxiety issues on whether he will cheat again, she has to rethink the relationship.
There are thousands of active samsters here and by active I mean they engage sexual services and a good number of them will have gfs or wives and you expect this same group of ppl to understand where you are coming from ? Let's see it from another angle by me being the guy who is the target to be entrapped and I get snared.....and exposed. You know what I would do ? I would just break it off with the girl. I may have been the offending party but I am not going to grovel, plead or apologize for straying again cos the fact that my gf planned such a sting on me means that the relationship is long over, just that she does not know it. Even if I pass the test, it will not set her heart at ease cos she may think that maybe I was not in the mood that day or the girl was not my type and there will be a second and third try. Maybe you can relay this to your friend and have her think about it.....
