one possible way is to cancel the work permit and married in sg... but she got to go back first! once got married then apply for a 'long term social pass' like visa.. then apply for PR later part.. she can give birth in sg hospital like any indon rich woman which is gonna be very expensive! not sure if what will happen to your awol friend of yours

If ur friend is serious abt her.. The only way is to gt him to surrender himself.. After tat, he can try to apply svp for her or if unsuccessful, he could gt married wif her overseas and use the marriage cert as a proof tat both of them are legally wed..

What the helpful samsters here are trying to say is that your friend himself is in deep shit! How do you think he can help his preggo Thai gf when he can't even help himself?

So the only logical conclusion, if he wants to achieve anything, is send his gf back, explaining to her his situation, surrender like a man, serve his time, and then after his release in a few years' time, and he is still in touch with his gf and interested to be responsible for his child, arrange for a family reunion back in Singapore.

But be prepared for a long and arduous road ahead before he can even contemplate reaching the end point... Good luck!

both of them surrenders to the respective authorities, the girl will be send home (not much of diff she is leaving soon), your friend goes to DB to fufill his punishment, after he finish his terms, get your friend to find a stable job and den marry her to singapore.

To be frank bro, your friend reap what he sow, since he noe that he is an awol personnel, he should not had shoot inside her, there is always a price to pay for a moment of folly, be a man, face the music if he really wants the baby and the girl, there is no other way to keep her in singapore while he still cont to awol, even if the girl is willing to overstay for his sake, the law will still catch up with them eventually, by then it will even be more complicated cos there is a infant involve.....

i not an expert of the law. but is there a chance that you might get in trouble by helping someone running away from the law? just to quote an example, when he got caught if the SIM card he is using is register under your name will you be implicated by helping an AWOL personnel? or he name you one of the person helping him when he got caught? something for you to consider isn't it?

as for his case, the most logical and realistic way is for him to give himself out. after serving what he deserve, he can start a new life and earn a decent living.

as for the thai gal, it depend on how long have she been expected. if too far into it, the only way is for her to take leave/cancel permit and go back to deliever the child. she can either take care of the child or go to some society for help to find the child a foster home. realistically, the child furture is pretty bleak if stick with the mum. a woman like her bringing up a child? if she still in the early stage, maybe she can consider going back to thailand for alternative. it might not be right thing to do but it the best for everyone. but i don't suggest it.
