The onus is always on the man as the man tends to be the older party. I was reading the papers where it says Hotel 81 will reject renting the room if anyone is under 18. So under the new 2 IC rule, the hotel can help you verify the age of the lady indirectly. If she uses a fake ic, well, at least details of that fake ic is recorded in Hotel 81's system. Help prove that a reasonable level of checks has been done. If you want to be safe, guys who look for fl should stay away from girls under 21. Sorry bro, even if it is a legal joint, you are still screwed if the girl is below 18.

At best, what you can hope for is for the Attorney General to exercise his discretion not to charge you on the basis that the CID screwed up and issued her with a green card when she is underaged.

Otherwise, you can use that as a mitigating factor to reduce the sentence, hopefully to a non-custodial sentence.
