Ok, I have got some info with regards to pricing of the place.

Basically, it is a Japanese Show Pub style, where most of the clientele are Japanese guys, with about 20 percent being locals. You have to purchase a set when you go in, being a bottle of house wine being the cheapest set, going at $100.00. Lady drinks are all $20.00. They then have a variety or cabaret show starting about midnight, which lasts about 40 minutes and that will cost another $20.00 per person. All up, a night out there will cost in the neighborhood of $250 bucks average. Now this is all the info that one of the ladyboys have passed on to me. I have yet to try this out for myself. If anyone wants to go and we can check the place out and make a night of it.

Sounds pretty expensive especially to someone who doesn't drink. Hope the quality of ladyboys there is good.

ok, was around cuppage tonight, and well, until now then i realised that there is a night scene around that area, cuz well, previously thougt that these places should not be that close to the city. anyway, didnt go to the lub, but i do see other pubs around the building. some beautiful generic girls are moving around, some of them locals. very well dressed, looks high end escort.

voices of "su ni ma seh" and "o hio go zai maz" from the top floor reminded me of the club, but sadly no time nor budget to visit...

I finally got around to paying Guppy a visit yesterday. I went there at about 11+ and as I walked in the door, a couple of ladyboys welcomed me in and ushered me to the bar and were very friendly and jovial. There was already a japanese customer in the club then, so most of the ladyboys were sitting around that area. I ordered my drink which was a beer that cost about 20 bucks, and i liked the ladyboy who was next to me so I got her and her friend one too. Soon it was time to start their show and it was alright, definitely geared more for the Jap market.

After the show, they the 2 girls came back and we continued and just chit chatted and the manager and another girl came to join us too. All in all, it was ok, and I would go back again, as there are a few stunners in there. I did not make any attempt to bring them home so I'm not really sure how that would work.

Bro --are the pubs to be like the Pinoy pub...and are the ladyboy aggresive.

Any update on this lb bar? The pricing seems similar or cheaper than ot. And if the lbs are less aggressive than ot, it would make for a more pleasant alternative to the more aggressive and ex ot...

Since this thread got resurrected I might as well share my experience from a couple of weekends ago at cuppage...

Cuppage plaza has long been known to be home to a dozen or so japanese kyabakura, forgive the spelling I'm not japanese. My group of friends and I have slowly been exploring level by level places to go and which ones will allow us into. I can tell you for a fact that 3/4 of them will not let you in unless you are Japanese or can speak Japanese. We have an ang mo friend who can speak Japanese and he basically got us all in to one of these places on the 3rd level. Anyway this is just the background to how I found the current joint..

Level 2 there is a place called Japanese VIP karaoke just as you walk out of the lift its the place in front of you. Dozens of girls and 'girls' standing outside welcoming you. They have a number of rooms and some single booths, note it is a smallish place. The cost without alcohol is about $120 a person, $40 cover and $70 for 5 ladies shots. We have been there twice now and it was the second time that I somehow got a ladyboy...

I say somehow because they don't exactly sell themselves on as being that but they don't exactly hide it. As soon as I went in the room she sort of thrust my hand down her open flowery japanese style dress and alerted me haha. Also I know for a fact you can tabao because my friend did that exactly to one of the girls the week before that and I think he paid between $100 - $200 to tabao with $50 bar fine maybe...

It is more or less KTV concept so all the kiss kiss touch touch grope grope etc inside the room haha. I guess if you make it clear you want to see the ladyboys they will bring them over but the group I am in never make it conducive for me to do that. Thats about as detailed as I can get if you guys got questions ask please I don't know what else to describe haha
