If the respective authorities are reading this, maybe they could put out an alert. Well, maybe.

The wechat scam on the payment by iTunes prepaid cards, I read it from here months before the authorities did their own information blitz on the matter. Forums like this does bring some good and not all negatives. I hope they consider the plus points as well.
