Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Once again thanks for another interesting post bro
From what you posted, signs dont look good for us clawing back some cash for our top players who wish to leave Worse still we dont have a super rich owner who frequently splurges out on buying top players Quite depressing Guess just need to hope and pray we get across the line this season and then enjoy #20 for all its worth because it is probably going to be another long wait for the next title if we are not able to adequately replace our top outgoing players Quote:

Dont think Everton played over the weekend bro
If i am not mistaken Fulham played over the weekend, lost , and now face Arsenal tonight at the Emirates Arsenal shall probably win and slice down our lead to 9 points before we play the Toffees tomorrow night You are right that this merseyside derby aint going to be easy though Just have to hope and pray that the Kop will help us get a much needed win to get us back on track and push on with the momentum Any win will do, just want them precious 3 points |

Very laboured win. Our manager insists on no rotation.

Everton had zero shots on target. Liverpool 72% ball possession.
See how David Moyes setup to frustrate Liverpool. DM only want a draw.

Thank you very much bro!
Been awhile, hope all is well with you Cheers & YNWA! PS. Wonder whether Arteta shall go all out against the Toffees over the weekend bearing in mind the big CL QF 1st leg at the Emirates against Madrid next week bro? Last edited by escobar43535; 03-04-2025 at 05:10 PM. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Huge win, massive massive win and a merseyside derby no less!!
A much needed 3 points, to stay 12 clear. First half wasn't the best. Konate and especially VVD, looked off it. Too many mistakes. Second half was much better. Diaz was a menace and Jota took his goal well. Jones was good at RB and Gravenberch looked back to his old self We are nearly there. The football isn’t brilliant at times, but at this point it’s about sticking together and just getting over the line. The mentality of our side/squad is superb and it’s clear that Slot has continued the immense team spirit that Jurgen had created But.....that 'tackle' on Mac Allister by Tarkowski was an absolute disgrace, and VAR.......my word!!! Paul Tierney needs to be suspended for the rest of the season for that decision. VAR cleared it so quickly and didn't even ask the ref to check the monitor. Tarkowski, actually tried to break Mac Allister's leg, no doubt about it. He apologised afterwards - shove it up your arse you shit. Something stinks, big!! The anti Liverpool bias by the officials is in plain view when Darwin gets a yellow for nearly getting his leg broken by Pickford and when Duncan Ferguson, Paul Merson, Mike Dean and Gary Neville say it’s a stonewaller red then you know it’s worthy of 2 red cards!! Tarkowsi himself has some cheek to complain about Jota's goal after what he got away with but David Moyes is even worse. His comments after the match were a disgrace. Openly admitting he doesn't understand the offside rule (with regards to Jota's goal) and calling Tarkowski's assault on Mac Allister a "brilliant challenge". Imagine coming out of a game when you know your best defender and keeper should really be facing lengthy bans for violent conduct and still thinking you were hard done by??!! |

Fully retired now and it seems that I am busier than when I was working. Meeting up with old buddies and making short trips. I hate to use SBF on my mobile, so have not been logging in. Knowing Arteta, he will still put in a strong team against Everton.... But he is still lacking a striker to put away all the chances they create.. Betting odds favour an Arsenal win but it will be very closely fought as Moyes has really stiffened up the team . Also last games at Goodison Park before their new stadium next season, so we should expect to play all out to impress their fans... Not critical for both teams except for pride... Most likely a draw, I think, unless Saka scores a couple....

the Tarkowski tackle was not good. Should be a red as it was high. Even the player agreed, so....

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Have to say after Gabriel recently going off with a hammy and apparently now being out for the rest of the season, makes me wonder if Arteta and his first XI shall now just concentrate on the CL bro
Tbh think Arsenal stand quite a good chance against Madrid as it looks like this current Madrid team leaks goals Anyways guess we shall find out shortly Oh and enjoy your retirement bro! Stay safe now Quote:

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Massive respect to Mac Allister, I honestly thought his leg was broken, so to play on was a miracle!!
Gather PGMOL has now come out to acknowledge that Tarkowski's 'tackle' was very 'serious' and not just 'reckless', deserving a red card instead of the yellow given by the ref Like I said above, Paul Tierney should at the very least be suspended from his refereeing duties for being so incompetent in his VAR duties Paul Tierney, Michael Oliver, David Coote...wonder who else amongst the refs appear to be biased against Liverpool?! As for Tarkowski, gather this is not the first time he has done this type of very serious tackling, actually more like assault and ironically it was against Everton's Richarlison when he was playing for Burnley and again he did not get a red card?! So Tarkowski's so called remorse means nothing bro |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Putting the fume about the officiating to one side for the moment, let that not detract from how a big a win that was on Wednesday. To get the 3 points was just huge
Banishes any lingering demons from PSG & Newcastle, settles any lingering nerves for those who still had them, takes the pressure off the remaining games, just about kills off any tiny smidgen of hope Arsenal may have had, and effectively just about wraps up the title Had we dropped points on Wednesday, the narrative about nerves and bottling and deja vu Liverpool would all have cranked up again. Wednesday's match shut all that nonsense down. Performance was patchy, not great but ok. Thought Diaz put in a huge shift, and even though I'm not his greatest fan I thought Curtis Jones did superbly at right back, particularly defensively. Gravenberch looked fresher than recently, and Jota got better as the game went on. The goal should give him a bit of an energy boost now too. None of that really matters at this stage anyway when all that matters is the points. Think Wednesday's match was the game where we just about boxed it all off. That said it seems to me like Salah might be missing Trent's exquisite passes more and more?? Ramadan is over but Mo still appears to be in a slump. Hope Slot can work something out on this front asap. Also like what others have been saying, wonder why Slot seems so reluctant to play Chiesa?? Real pity because think he can definitely make a contribution and provide something different for us in attack |
