Born local and Malaysian man, who married Thai women are almost all Thai Buddhist. And not to forget they worship the late Thai King. I dont find these men good buddhist. Rather they hope by using Thai Buddhist and King, it kept their wives in good behaviour.

I find the scariest movies tend to be Thai movies. So culturally, do we understand how they think in such matters.. when a person is too superstitious, they don't really use logic in many daily life situations. May be a source of conflict in marriage and in raising kids.

Depends, but in my case, no. Will go to temple and pray like a typical local buddhist family.
