I'm planning to bring about US$200 for 2 nites. Hotel already paid for so should be more than enough i hope.
US$100 - $10 bills
US$50 - $5 bills
US$50 - $1 bills
should be ok hor ?

I would say that it largely depends on what you will be doing

Anyway always better to bring extra but always stash away in your room or hotel safe so never bring all your cash in your wallet

I knew her during one of my business trip in HCM, she was waitressing at one of their upmarket cafe, honestly their monthly pay was pathetic, 800K VND per month, the rest is history

One of our fav activities in vietnam was to stroll along in their shopping centres to beo at the shop assistants & promoters, some of them are really sweet and friendly
