Wa... long time no hear from you hor? Yeah.. soon I should be able to make the move over to LOS for a long time. It's still in the planning stage as it is. I am working round the whole plan but still needs the BIG BOSS to approve to support my plans. So... will update you all once its been finalized.

eh btw, since now ROM doesnt require overseas marriages to "endorse" or re-register with them, as certifiied true copies are recognised nationwide, can we apply for a duplicate certificate?

went to see the FAQ, duplicate certs are only for sg registrated, not overseas

anyone knows???

Just photocopy will do & bring along the original so they can stamp 'seen original' & keep the photocopy

What is it about her that you love? How can you even tolerate your wife fucking around outside? if you are a "pii chai" (ie eat soft rice), by all means let her do whatever she wants.

With all the money spent, you have to put up with her fucking outside and extra baggages too....I think u can get better deals else where.

but i called them they mentioned that there is no need, tts why i was wondering how to get a sg issued certificate o_O

You are right. If in bro rapbill's case, having your loved one going around having a gig, I think of coz is a big NO NO. Of coz there are better deals out there and everywhere in thailand!! There are always better and swetter deals.

marriage = deal? marriage becomes a transaction? marriage is a contract to a certain extend but it is a contract of love & commitment. Does your wife even love you at all if she wants to have gigs? Do not rush into marriage for all the wrong reasons.....it is not like buying a car or a pet even

I think we are all in general quite concern with bro rapebill's case. We are all outsiders and seeing what is going on, based on his postings, it obvious that this is only going to be quite a monetary based relationship. I do hope his wife wake up 1 day to know and appreciate things that is done for her.

Its 1 thing that we know we are giving all we can to make things work. Is another that we realise that for the girl, its our JOB to do so.

We ARE all desperate to be loved somehow. And when a girl stroke us the right way (pun intended), we tend to see things as positive and we work harder for more. We become blind or tend to ignore other things that should make a relationship.

Yep, true. I agree with you that marriage is a contract of love and commitment. NOTE.. This holds true for you, me and many others. BUT this may not apply to thai ladies...

My view is this.. to some of them perhaps those in the trade ones, getting married to a guy that can support them and their families is like kena LOTTERY. Like I say earlier, see it from their views, if this guy want to take me out of the trade and marry me.. I surely marry him. Why should I continue to sell myself to others. I come from a poor family with NOTHING. Now this guy love me and takes care of everything in my life. All I need to do is to please him, take care of him. I could learn to love him later, after he is able to build my house, buy my car, feed my family etc etc etc.. (example only)

So, perhaps in rapebill's case it might be the same, and now she WANTS MORE out of it by saying she wanna have gigs... Of coz, we cannnot allow this to happen. Its to many extend scary even to think about it. The thing now is that he is married with her. I really hope that she will turn round to appreciate him and love him the way he does her.

End of the day - We are looking for LOVE, THEY are look to SURVIVE FIRST.. love later. That might be the root of the issue.
