I think this is not a trend but more of an issue of circumstance. No one likes being away from their love ones for too long but due to nationality; career etc hence the distance apart. It is pretty much a weird situation where one will experience being married be yet “single”. Of course this leads to many other additional problems such as third party, suitors, fading feelings etc but if one views it in another way, it can be a test of character, determination but no too much of love. It all started with love and hence the marriage, but then in this “first come, first serve, fast come, fast go” society, love seems to be a much desire lust and of faltering value.

I think if the husband work overseas,perhaps already set a time frame of still want to work how many more years before can settle down permanently in LOS better la.Not easy to maintain a long r/s w/o seeing each other lei.

actually i can go now n dont care other things but i want to retire there comfortable and dont need to worry about anything else. why i still wanna earn more is for my kids future education.

was being offer a job in phuket. one of the private uni. pay was so so and i rejected it. if i dont need to earn more to save. getting that pay they offer will be fine with me. well maybe next time.

However, in my case it's started with Lust, then love...

I've this thai "gf" which when I first visited was thinking purely as a sex trip. The fact that I was invited to lodge over at her place means added excitment and $ savings - too good a deal to miss. Little did I know she was quite serious to be my GF and one thing cums after another, before I know it she's wanting me as a husband material after 2 years+ of long distance relationship.
