KC blinks. When the hell did she return? And why did she not inform him???
KC decides to call her direct.

The phone is picked up almost immediately and CK's bubbly voice springs forth with a cheerful Hullo, I just got back!!!

KC swallows and tries to sound pleased; Welcome! When did you return? Why didn't you call me earlier so I could have picked you up? In his mind's eye, KC sees CK waiting as a rich and horny towkay with a gleaming gold tooth streams into the airport pick up bay in a chauffered silver Mercedes Benz to pick her up...

Sorry didn't want to bother you. Anyway just got home. When can we meet?

KC is surprised; she actually wants to meet? Then he calms down; of course lah you goondu, must be to discuss S-Eleven matters. He replies, Ok I see you at the usual place tomorrow morning then?

OK! Again followed by a smiley ...

The following day comes and KC, as usual is early and waits at the table for CK. Then he sees CK and his jaws nearly drop as his flag-pole is simultaneously being raised...CK is dressed in white furries that end in a short mini-skirt and a pair of beige-brown patent leather boots. She looks like some cute anime character from a sailor gir comic strip. KC quickly adjusts his pants, clears his animal mind and stands up to greet her.

CK smiles radiently at him and sits down to join him.

They talked for nearly an hour. O rather, CK does most of the chatter excitedly, filling in details of what she has been doing back home. She has also taken some photographs of her home in her mobile and also shows them to KC. It is almost like KC is being brought into a super-fast crash course into her personal life back home...

Soon the conversation dries up and the awkwardness sets in. KC thinks the time is now right to directly ask about her agenda. He clears his throat and asks directly; so what's your next step?

It seems that all the radient sunshine has disappeared on CK's face the moment the question is asked. She looks down on the table for a while and says that she has been to the Club and the management has asked her to return to work.

KC feels his heart sink as the thought flashes through him; why meet at all if just to tell me this?

CK explains that she has some other plans in mind but cannot reveal them as she has to see how things will work out.

Yeah, KC thinks, see how thing$ work$ out with $ucker$ like me...

There is silence then CK stands up and says she needs to go to work now. KC looks at her, nods and offers to send her. She accepts and they proceed in silence.

KC slowly parks his car at the Club dim and empty car park and pulls the handbrake. He looks at the dashboard for a while, thinking, while CK looks at him. KC does not realise it then but CK seems to be waiting, almost expecting KC to...

KC kills the engine and opens the door.

Ok, I will walk you up, he says as he walks around to open CK's door.

CK seems disapointed but still manages to smile and gets out of the car.

As the couple nears the Club entrance, CK suddently turns and gently reaches out to his head to pull him down to her. In a whisper that is almost inaudible, she murmurs softly and directly into his ear,

I can ask for nothing but only for your memory; please think of me with fondness.

She smiles, almost sadly at him and in a flash melts into the seductive darkness of the Club.........
