Yes I agreed it is overpriced though it is just a street across the mall. That mal is big and with mostly branded stuff. I prefer BCS, Nagoya or DCS mall which has more local stuff hehehehe.

I tried the carrot cake but just the normal type with and without dark sweet sauce like what you said the dark sweet sauce is too sweet.

The storyline is great, most of the time the movie is about the good guy who is Batman but this show focus on the joker and how the circumstances and situation resulted him or many others to change in their thoughts or mentally. A very good show that makes us ponder and see things at the other side of the mind.

Some people have 2 sides of character just like Dr jekyll and Mr hyde. One's behavior is usually normal most of the time till being triggered to act abnormally. It can be the stress environment or crowded place one is surrounded with.

If you're changing big amount.
Might consider go Nagoya hill main road area, 500m away from your hotel.
(Harmony HV 3 locations,I assumed your hotel is the one near Kampong blue)

I go to Holiday Hotel,turn right from their entrance at least 4 to 5 money changers, turn left from their entrance, at least 5 to 6 other money changers. Nowaday more money changers are popping up in that area.

There are 3 Harmoni group of hotels in Batam, one is called Harmoni Hotel, one is called Harmoni Suite and another called Harmoni One.

How to get to Harmoni Hotel (at Kampong Bule) to Holiday Hotel. Thats what google would tells me.

It says 7 mins but i usually take about 5 mins. Maybe i walked fast and knows the way. I took the route on the main road.

Harbour Bay Ferry terminal exchange rate on Friday the 13th was 10200/SGD.

BCS mall opposite Hai Hai Money Changer 10300/SGD, change S$200. I checked a few shops at that area, most only offer 10250/SGD. Inside BCS mall is worst, 10200/SGD as it was very crowded that day.

Opposite Formosa Hotel was 10330/SGD on Saturday,14th Dec. Changed S$200.

I'm in harbourfrount ferry center. Super long Q for only harizon ferry, waited 1hr in line. All people with childrens,couples and familys.Don't know what is the special reson even monday too while the other ferry counters very less Q. Did not expect. Wrong decition to take harizon ferry

Whats the info about open ferry ticket that can get for cheap? I been going to batam alot recently and paying $50 return ticket is getting expensive 🤣

I think this one from Sindo is an ongoing promotion year to year. Nothing really new as price is quite often similar every year. No actual saving. Its however good for Senior citizen tho.

Majestic offer is pretty cool tho. And Horizon ones is almost like a 30% to 35% off from my usual ferry bill.

Delay is pretty common in Batam. Just like the Formosa Residence apartment,hehehe...Wey Wey Hotel is suppose to start Dec 2019 and that Dynasty 99 KTV suppose to open too.

Actually those were illustrated pricing from Agoda and other online hotel booking sites whereby they capture the click-counts of internet users on a particular hotels. In other word, the more internet user clicked on those hotels, the higher the pricing (I think air-ticket works similar too) ,hehehe...no sane person will go book ANY 3 star hotel room for S$7k to S$8k a night in Batam.

The story in figure tells me, which are the popular hotels in Batam where i can book (in future) and which one are the least popular ones internet user wont be bothered to take a 2nd look (which i can book today). Its like a high season, low season thingy and be looking for alternatives. And with the whole statistic in the larger picture,it will tell me :

1. Most Sillyporean prefer which kind of hotel (their need/s and their choice/s?)

2. How to book a lousy no star hotel and get an almost 5 star room and service (and i can play King there,hehehe...)

3. Which area of hotels in Batam are more popular (eg. Penuin, Nagoya, Batam center area etc).

When i get all those information compiled, it will tell me which area of Batam to avoid. Or which area of Batam will be subject to "terrorist attack",hehehe...

Example, this upcoming weekend, i just learned from Agoda's statistic that more than 90% of all hotels at penuin area (aka BCS) were fully booked. Hardly any decent rooms left. But the area around Nagoya/Kampong Bule still got some pretty good rooms left. So if i am going to Batam this weekend, i have to totally avoid BCS aka penuin area and its businesses there (or else have to pay higher price and get discounted quality of service).

In other word, if i have a bomb and if i drop it at BCS area this weekend, i can kill more Singaporean than i drop it in any other area of Batam. I will avoid those area.
