Get tested for HIV being typing knot?

Guys n gals, help me out here. i'm doing an informal survey for a local newspaper, Zaobao.

Singapore's Health Ministry is considering whether to ask people to test for HIV before getting married.

Let me know what you think about this issue?

Q1) Will you agree to go for a HIV test before you get married?

Q2) Will you continue to marry your partner if s/he turns out to be positive?

Please feel free to elaborate more on your answers.

I also went for a HIV testing before kena tie by the knot. I brought my wife along and do the whole health screening which include other screening lar.. if u just want to do HIV with yr wife, it very obvious to her. Why not both of you go for a health screening that include it?

if i am find positive, i will not married her as if you love her, you will want her to get a better life right? rather than suffer together..

1) I will but as for my gf, i'm not sure since i come out to play naturally i will make sure that i'm clean before i get married.

2)All i can say is that, we have yet to reach that level of indiscrimination. Yeah A lot of people will tell you that they dun mind but in actual fact, is it really that they dun mind the fact that they themselve have HIV or their parthners? Seriously, ask yourself if you are getting married tomorrow, and you found out that your gf have HIV, will you be able to accept that and dun lie coz to me, i won't and i probably need quite a while to think things through coz in Singapore, just go and the street and ask them if they will discriminate HIV patients, they will say no and later tell that same person you have HIV and you can immediately see their change of reaction.

Well, from a sociologist perspective, I think the screening process is not really out to protect us as human, rather this is a safety net for pro-creation policy. 30 years ago, when I was born, all the propagandas on stopped at 2 if not you will be sorry. From the 90's till today, please make love and pro-create, I will pay you handsomely over the next few years. After starting to cheong this year, whoever my future wife maybe, I will have the screening done, only because I love her and not to implicate her because of my past lustful adventures. I will not screen because this country wants to make sure the babies are 100% non-hiv and able to slogg for living when they grow up. I mean govt also realise that besides the reason of being financially independent, s'porean men have more choices to bonk other nationalities other than s'porean women. I don't mean our fellow country women are not up to standard, just compare the prices btwn a local FL and other national FLs. If we can watch porn or CAt 3 movies at free will, we don't need to download or get underground supplies. I mean it's a dialectic relation we are having here in S'pore, no porn movies, but we expect you to create babies. Just look at the survey published on Sunday, what a joke! To quickly multiply our population, I think they should give annual ERS for not PCC to the men.

Almost every couple in SG have sex before tying the knot.
Why should they be ordered to go for mandatory HIV screening when they want to get married?
It just doesn't make any sense......
Unless they want to have babies, then it's a different matter.
