how often do you cook rice?

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

i cook rice like once in 2 weeks on weekend.

i will make 3 cups of basmati rice with lots of garlic thrown in and then after it's cooked and cooled, i store them in containers in the freezer.

then as and when i feel like eating rice, i will put them in microwave to heat up.

my housemate says why everytime she cannot eat freshly cooked rice and i tell her it's more energy efficient and effort saving using my method. it's faster too and no need to cook rice and wait when she wants to eat...
