Not that I don't know where you're coming from, but I didn't exactly set out to pen a masterpiece here. This isn't a planned novel or anything. It's just an exercise to keep my thoughts flowing. Like you, I write for a living, and to minimize the chances of succumbing to a full onset of the dreaded writer's block, I set aside a few hours a day to do some frivolous writing, like this story here. As such, I like to experiment, try out new ideas, or even just go nuts sometimes with this story, which, I'm afraid, results in a rather bumpy plot.
