Hahaha. We cant really argue what is a decent price to pay for my wife-to-be can we? after some discussion with my gf, the sinsoot is not really an issue anymore. My gf assured me i dont have to worry about it because even if its 10 mil baht, it wont significantly increase her parent's current assets.

what PM72 meant is that if you are sincere in marrying the thai girl, then you just do it if you have the means to do so. If you try to negotiate the sinsoot, it's like market buy and sell and will cause loss of face. I understand that bros want to minimise their costs but marriage is always expensive everywhere.

For me i dont need to give sinsoot to my ger family and the mother told me to keep the money.

I still choose to give the sinsoot during my wedding.. my wedding in thailand will be later since the econ not doing well and everyone holding to their jobs... my ger also understand that.

so it up to the family whether they are fine with what they want. it not about whether what we want....

diff family and status will have diff expectation... so those who wanna marry a thai had to understand this...

I have to agree on it the rich there are really cash rich mostly, I just met an old friend recently during my bkk trip. Jokingly asked her how much? she says : up to u! but seriously for face can do a 50-50 split or 70-30 contribution. then return the rest, and keep a bit for savings for the new house/condo to stay in.

Not enough nevermind, she will take care of it. Heck her place is bigger house and land than both my parents HDB and my uncle's semi D here in singapore.

Then to be realistic , she is 29 and her family is hope the best for her, so don't care so much from the man's side as long as it is someone she loves.

Dear bros,recently on my 2nd trip to BKK,a G-Club gal stayed with me throughout.Strange thing is though i think she loves me,let me boom-boom her,take care me,even the minor minor details and stuff.But NEVER ever once she tell me she likes me or sms me sweet,mushy stuff like that.Not that i like those mushy stuff,but i'm curious is it Thai culture not to say the 3 words,but express through actions???

Dude, you pay her and you're surprised that she lets you boom boom her?

You're a good customer and it's important to keep good customers happy so that they will repeat custom. This is SOP practise after all.
