Indeed there are loads of '' mee nam jai khonthai pooying''. It boils to ones luck and fate like Pii Triple X mention. Sometime you can smell fishy after months knowing her sometimes take years for one to see one attitude as we didn't meet up as often as we could due to some reason.

As for me, during the first stage, second stage was very sweet. Suddenly during last visit we quarrel quite bad till the extend she even said this to me '' this is thailand, so jolly well behave yourself'' reason, she asked me to go night market but I refused as quite tired and thus made me shouted at her 'PAI!' It was my first time since two and half year of dating, saw her so angry that she slammed her door and threw her coffee cup on the floor. After that incident, its make me thing twice to marry with her. Thus that why I'm asking around is it their upbringing makes them this way? Asked quite number of bros, they also have experience their thai girlfriend being fierce at them. Maybe those senior can share something for their experience with khonthai pooying!

it's not just thai girls that will be angry if you shouted at them.. almost every woman in this world hates to be shouted... once they loves you they'll do whatever you ask but if you makes them angry,then it's history cause for them changing guys is like changing clothes... when they follow you in your country all they hope for is someone who loves & treat them's well.. if it's for the scolding & ill treating , they'll pack-up & leave cause it's better to be ill treated in their own country... at least in their own country they still have their friends & family's shoulder to cry on...

My ex-gf and i were holidaying in Pattaya when on the last night i say i want to go out and drink and she say she want remain in the hotel room.i say "Ok,i take MY(slip of mouth) hotel card and go 1st na?" Cos so that i can come back later and open the door myself later me without disturb her sleeping.

Guess wat?She exploded and said "WAT?!YOUR card??!!!!!!" BOOM!!!!She say why i must use this word "MY" as if i come myself!! WALAN EH!!!

She immediately packed her bags and went back to Bangkok that nite and left me all alone in Pattaya(my 1st time there too).And not forgetting my thai baht all on her,not even 1 baht on myself.Thank god there is this thing called CREDIT CARD....hahahaha...

I do watch thai larkorn, agree with you that their actress were shouting here and there but it didn't occured my mind that a real life situation do take place similar like those in larkorn, or even beyond imagination, but instead their love triangle or rather "rak sam sao" happen almost in every relationship.

My girlfriend is a original Khonthai pooying, from Nakhon Si Thammarat province, reside in Bangkok since she was 12 years old. So I can say she grew in Krung Thep environment.

Care to share more on your "pretty positive" for those grew up in Krung Thep enviroment.

The few whom I have had contact with, the spoken Thai seems more polite.

Seriously speaking,i know her for only around 2months then started all these and my ex-gf comes from Issan but was raised up in Khrung Thep,temper as bad as hell.But as some said,if she for nothing also gan u,maybe there wasnt any love at all,she's just tolerating u for her other personal gains.

Lastly,i like to say that Thailand is indeed divided into different social class group.IMO,those brought up prim n proper,went through hi-so education holding proper jobs are likely to behave just prim n proper cos tats expected of them.But i dunno y me and my friends always dun have such luck to meet these types,hahahaha
